Applications Now Open for AwardX Kenya 2026

The wait is over. AwardX Kenya 2026 is officially open, inviting high school students across Kenya to step into entrepreneurship and bring their ideas to life.

AwardX Kenya offers a platform for students to submit business ideas or early-stage ventures, receive feedback, and compete on a national stage. The top 10 finalist teams will be selected to present live at Demo Day on 16 May, competing for over $2,000 in prizes.

Participants can apply as individuals or teams, submitting either an existing business or a well-developed idea. The competition is completely free to enter for students across the country.

Connecting with Students Across Kenya

In the lead-up to this year’s program, the LaunchX team has been visiting schools across Kenya to connect directly with students, share more about AwardX, and answer questions in person. Information sessions were held at M-PESA Foundation Academy, Kenya High School, Brookhouse, Strathmore School, and Alliance High School, engaging with students and introducing them to the world of entrepreneurship.

- $700 cash prize
- Full scholarship to the 2027 LaunchX Exploration Program (USA) for one team member

- $300 cash prize

Who Can Apply

AwardX Kenya 2026 is open to high school students currently residing in Kenya. Students may apply individually or as part of a team, with all team members required to register before the deadline.
