Announcing a 2026 Extended Deadline

LaunchX today announced a three-week extension of its Summer 2026 final application deadline, moving from March 4, 2026 to March 25, 2026, following unprecedented student interest and continued improvements to its admissions process.

Over the past 30 days alone, more than 4,000 students have discovered LaunchX’s programs — the highest level of engagement in the organization’s history. In response, LaunchX has refined and streamlined its admissions process to deliver faster decisions for students and families than ever before.

What’s Changing

• Final Deadline: March 4, 2026

• Extended Deadline: March 25, 2026

While the application window is being extended, LaunchX will continue to recognize its March 4 Final Deadline with special incentives.

$1,000 Scholarship Raffle for Early Applicants

Students who submit their completed applications by March 4 at 11:59 PM EST will automatically be entered into a raffle for a $1,000 scholarship. Students who have already applied will also be included in the drawing.

Applying before March 4 provides additional advantages:

• The best chance to secure a spot in competitive programs

• Priority consideration as programs approach capacity

• Entry into the scholarship raffle

LaunchX’s In-Person Exploration Program has historically filled to capacity, with additional summer programs filling quickly each year.

Application Fee Changes After March 4

Beginning March 5:

• The application fee will increase to $100

• Fee waivers will no longer be available

Students and families are encouraged to submit before March 4 to take advantage of current application policies.

With programs filling quickly and interest at an all-time high, students are strongly encouraged to complete their applications as soon as possible. Applying early not only ensures full consideration for program placement, but also maximizes scholarship eligibility and program availability.
